Catherine Sun and Eric Xin – World Record Holders on the grid

Our entry list grows fast 🙂 Today we announce to special runners – Catherine Sun and Eric Xin – a couple well recognized in runners world who already achieved few of the most notorius crosscountry trails around the world.

Catherine Sun is the first Chinese woman to finish the 777 Marathon, and with her husband has broken the Guinness World Record for fastest couple to finish a marathon in each marathon. The World Marathon Challenge (777 Marathon) is an amazing logistical and physical challenge, requiring competitors to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. During the seven-day time period, competitors must run standard 26.2-mile (42.2-km) marathon distances at Union Glacier (Antarctica), Punta Arenas (Chile), Miami (USA), Madrid (Spain), Marrakech (Morocco), Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Sydney (Australia). In doing so, they will complete seven marathons in seven continents: Antarctica, South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
